For quite some time now I finally managed to put up some courage, to ask RoleCosplay about a sponsorship. Lucky girl that I am, actually got the chance to test out one of their products. For everyone who doesn’t know about RoleCosplay: It’s a shop which is present on several online websites e.g their own webpage or eBay and they offer finished cosplays. Which means, I got the chance to test out the shop and their product and will happily report about all of my experiences thus far.

The outfit I got was the Kimi no Kokoro Kagayaiteru kai? Outfit from Takami Chika – Love Live Sunshine. I planned to cosplay her a long time ago to be honest and therefore I really am thankful to get one of her outfits. Thank you so so much at this part. Communication with the shop was flawless, they were friendly and engaging. If you have any question related directly to the shop, then I would recommend contacting them via Facebook. They seem to be more active on Facebook and I usually got faster replies there compared to E-mail. After discussing which outfit it was supposed to be, did it take about a month for it to be shipped directly to me without any additional costs.

The package contained an adorable little carrying bag with zipper and consists of several different pieces. The biggest part without doubt was the dress itself. It is made of a few skirt layers that are all sewn onto the upper part, which makes it a comfy dress, where all the accessories are put upon. The fabric used for the dress was some high quality cotton, decorated with several satin straps and pieces made out of artificial leather. Don’t worry about the satin it has a warm color and is not overly sparkly and shiny. There is a button at the collar and a hidden zipper at the side of the dress for ease of wearability. The dress comes with some accessories containing of two ribbons, one in yellow covering your chest area and the other one is pink and belongs to the side of the dress. You can attach them via safety pins, same as the little anchor on your chest. The cosplay even came with all the hair accessories, there is a little ribbon for the braided plait, this beautiful flower and a little green ribbon for your hairline on the side. I personally think the flower looks up close and in reality much better than the one displayed at their online shop. Also included is a wristband, a little chain with several little pendants for your leg, over knees and two blue straps with ribbons attached to them.
This means the only things you have to provide yourself are: a fitting wig and a pair of shoes everything else is included.
I ordered the Cosplay in L since Asian measurements are most of the time smaller than our European and you should be better safe than sorry it’s easier to make something smaller than larger.

All in all I’m more than satisfied with RoleCosplay. They offer great quality, a wide array to choose from and are super friendly. For all Love Live fans out there they do offer µ’s outfits as well so don’t worry about it. I hope this review did help you. And maybe you might even consider this shop, I can wholeheartedly recommend it.
