Numerous cosplayers are attending MomoCon in Atlanta, Georgia, and it’s one of the largest growing all-ages conventions in the country. Attendees of the event have come together to share their love for Japanese anime, American animation, video games, comic books, and many of them brought some very creative cosplay, which you can check out in the gallery below!

The name cosplay MomoCon comes from the Japanese word for “Peach,” and with Georgia being “The Peach State” it makes for a perfect fit. MomoCon began as a cosplay fan-run event at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2005 and was even held at the Student Center & Commons in its first years. Since then, MomoCon has expanded to greater numbers of attendance from worldwide cosplay lovers and has had to change locations to meet the demand of those wishing to attend.

Turns out that some cats just can’t stay away from cosplay shoots, no matter how scary the costume. Morris the cat is my friend’s pet, the Russian cosplayer Alberti told me, and he just loves to have his pictures taken. He wasn’t afraid at all and constantly was under our feet during the photo session, and as a result, got his picture taken.
