When asked about the reason on Tokyo Ghoul‘s second season called √A, there are mainly two explanations. √A (“root A”) is a reference to and pun on the Aogiri Tree organization, which is the focus of the second season. “A” is simply the first letter of the organization, and the root is a pun on tree root (since it’s the Aogiri Tree). And another theory is “Route A”, since the anime has some deviation at the beginning of the season. we could see that being a plausible explanation, too.
Last year’s Tokyo Ghoul was an anime that did an excellent job of building a modern-day fantasy — a world where man-eating ghouls exist alongside normal humans. There was a lot of action and gets the focus. Rather the world — and the half-ghoul Kaneki’s place in it — were the driving forces of the anime. We learned about how the police react to this world full of murderous superbeings as well as explored the various lifestyle philosophies of ghoul society.
One major problem of Tokyo Ghoul lies in its ended in the middle of the final battle — leaving the show largely without a climax or resolution. It didn’t even end on a cliffhanger. Instead, it ended before one could happen.

They still eat humans, of course, but they only eat humans who have committed suicide or died from accidents. They don’t hunt down humans. On top of that, ghouls still have emotions and families. This comes to a head in the form of the story of a young ghoul named Hinami and her parents.

There are quite a few fight scenes in Tokyo Ghoul, and to say they can get a tad bit bloody is a vast understatement. Gallons of blood have been split over the course of this series, especially when ghouls are fighting each other. The fights are often brutal, nasty affairs that standout from many of the beautifully choreographed fight scenes found in anime.
