Kat’s here again for a small review, this time we’ll talk about my new Tohru costume from Rolecos! Shalizàà is almost done with her computer and soon she will join me here for more content ♡
This time we’ll see another costume that I bought on RoleCosplay (not sponsored)! It came in a small plastic package well sealed, no extra custom fees to pay. The costume includes the blouse, the blue maid dress, a belt, the ribbon for the back and a smaller one for the neck, the hair headband and the gloves. The only things left out to buy were the socks,, horns, wig and and shoes: the costume is almost ready. The entire costume did match pretty well the pictures that I’ve seen before buying it, so let’s see it in details:
The blouse is made of a soft and fresh fabric, well tailored and with an elastic on the sleeve. I bought a size L because I was programming to wear a pair of fake boobs (yea right, the struggle of cosplaying when you’re flat as a board) and it was perfect on the shoulders, sleeves and waist, just a little thight on the chest area, but overall it gives you a good silhouette.
I was kinda worried about it being too trasparent but it doesn’t, so you don’t have to worry about wearing something under it.
The red ribbon on the neck is a basic one that you have to tie by yourself like a necktie, and the headband is a regular plastic one. I think you could also attach the horns to it, maybe? I’ll test it out when I’ll get mine, and update this section of the review ♡
The blue dress of the Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid has both a zip on the side and the elastic on the waist, and a super super suuuper pretty lace at the end of it (photo below). The skirt is really large and makes a nice whirling when turning!
Belt and ribbon on the back are perfect, the ribbon is also padded like a plush so it looks super big and fluffy. All the measurements matched the chart on their shop, they have been really fast with their replies to my messages and same goes for the shipping. The only thing I wasn’t really happy with were the gloves: they match well my hand and arm (even if they’re one size since I wasn’t asked any measurements for that) but the lace on the upper part keeps turning on himself, so I’ll probably to sew them by myself or try to fix this pair. Overall there weren’t loose threads, missing pieces or any kind of problems with the dress.
The order arrived after two weeks or even less (they said a max of five weekes), so I was really satisfied with it, and also there weren’t any customs tax to pay wich is great. At the end I was satisfied with everything except the gloves but again, it’s always hard to find a pair of pre-made gloves that sticks well without some fixing.
I already knew that this shop was worth the money after reading lots of reviews, so I would totally recommend it to anyone who wants to buy something cheap but still with a really good quality. As a recap: everything was more than great, the measurements were correct and the only thing that I had to fix were the gloves (like it often happens). For this cosplay I ordered a basic L size checking their size’s chart.

Now I’ll wait for the actual wig and horns to arrive from Taobao for a full costest and future photoshoot. Speaking of Taobao, I was thinking about making a small tutorial and review about my usual shopping service, what do you think? Would it be useful?
I’ll write a big cosplay/dresses haul about all the stuff I ordered too, so stay tuned! ٩(*´꒳`*)۶♪
