Nico Yazawa Wig Review

Hello hello!

This is my review for the Nico Yazawa wig I recently received from RoleCosplay.com !

When I was sent the wig, I received a tracking number and was able to see when I could expect the arrival for the wig. Tracking is included in every order from the store and they have a list on their website of what the expected shipping date is for every country !

The company was very responsive to my emails and answered all the questions I had so I would say that was a 10/10 for customer service !

When the wig finally came, it actually arrived earlier then the expected shipping date by about 5 days which was a bit surprising (my postal service is always kind of slow soo..)

It arrived in a package with the name of the supplier of the wig on the front and when I opened the outer package, the wig was neatly folded in a ziplock bag and had cardboard around it to protect it from being crushed.

The wig itself is a nice black and feels very soft. There was a bit of shedding when I brushed it out, however that happens with every wig so it is expected. Once I brushed it out the first time I haven’t had anymore problems with hairs falling out. The wig is made of three parts; the base, and two pigtails. I was initially worried if the pigtails would be too bulky since I expected them to come attached to big hairclips like my Miku hatsune wig pigtails, however the clips on the Nico wig were smaller and accurate to Nico’s pigtails. Since they were smaller, I didn’t have to worry about thinning the wig out like I have seen a few other cosplayers do after ordering wigs for Nico. The base of the wig itself is nice and thick so I am not worried about the netting showing through and there is an adjustable cap in the wig. I did have to cut some random strands that were a bit long in a few spots (probably caused by the layering in the wig so you could have the nice points at the end).The base of the wig also has the loose hair that Nico has on the left side of her head and I liked that it did in fact have that little detail that adds to the accuracy of the character! The bangs are also a bit shorter, which would make it easier to cut or style if you choose to do so.

Overall I think the quality of the wig is great and am impressed with how nice and thick the base of the wig is, also Role Cosplay has some amazing prices and great communication. I suggest checking them out if you plan on purchasing a wig for your next cosplay ! (Especially since a lot of their wigs are actually on sale for really good prices!!)
